From Hello Betty Fish House we walked to the Oceanside Boardwalk.. We came to rent a small boat from Oceanside Boat Rentals and noticed a surf competition!. I saw an advertisement for a trampoline park, Altitude, in the brochure we got from the Oceanside Visitor Center so we went there.. We started off our second day in Oceanside with breakfast at Beach Break Cafe .. I know many whale watching companies offer refunds or a rain check if you don’t spot a whale but Oceanside Adventures does not.. Our time in Oceanside was coming to an end but not without having our last meal.. Since we only had two days in Oceanside we weren’t able to experience all the things to do in Oceanside.. When we arrived to Oceanside we checked into Paradise by the Sea RV Resort .. Just one mile from the Oceanside Pier it’s a prime location for enjoying the water activities Oceanside has to offer.. There are so many things to do in Oceanside and it’s a beautiful city in Southern California.. Our next and final stop on this trip was Anza-Borrego park , 80 miles from Oceanside .. It is literally right at the pier, walking distance to the harbor village, and walking distance to all of the bars and restaurants downtown.. Once we made our loop around the pier, we decided to walk over to the harbor village to schedule a whale watching tour with Oceanside Adventures and get some breakfast.. side of coffee cakeside of biscuits and gravy After breakfast we still had about 45 minutes to kill before our whale watching tour, so we went next door to the cantina at Rockin’ Baja Lobster Bar and Grille (yes, at 11 am).. We decided to check out Mission San Luis Rey since it was only about a 20 minute drive.. Once we got back we decided to walk into Downtown Oceanside to check out a new wine bar the front desk had recommended called Coomber Craft Wines..
