It was hard to find a good clinic and an appointment in UK, I had emailed a lot of clinic, trying to find one Doctor willing to help me, but UK's Clinic keeps rejected me because it was too much work or too complicated to them.Only Doc Tap is doing their best to help and understanding my problems. Not only the support team for booking the appointment is really helpful and fast, also the doctor is really professional and understanding.I never had such a great experience to make a medical examination, when I was emailing about the problems and questions, the support team Ara is so fast and clear to reply me, they simply relaxed me when I was so stressful about my problem. And the Dc, Lu is really helpful and friendly, she made this examination so easy for me, Her professional skill and suggestions is really great and making this clinic become the first place I will recommend to my friends.Monday, August 1, 2022

After having quite a stressful time trying to find someone to write me a medical certificate for work, I called DocTap and it was quick and easy from there. I booked an appointment online for that same day to a surgery that was around the corner from my house. The check-in was easy and quick. My doctor was thorough, patient and knowledgeable. He did his up most to help my situation and made me feel at ease. His medical certificate that he wrote for me was extremely factual and he confirmed with me what needed to be written. I am extremely happy with every point of the service with DocTap and I will be recommending to all my friends. Thank you!Wednesday, July 27, 2022

Great Service. Dr Amish Patel is very professional, approachable and really helpful. So pleased I chose Doctap and lucky to have such a reassuring Doctor. The Doctap customer service team were great in trying to answer my questions too!Sunday, July 24, 2022
First rate all round I would say. Four stars for the premises only for the followint reason: ONne simple issue, I would say, at HQ 344-354 Grays Inn Road, is that there were no doors open to be able to get in / gain access, there is no bell or similar, the only possibility of announcing yourself on the threshold was by very loud knocking on the glass doors, and hoping that somebody in reception would eventually hear you! Which the DID, eventually .... but there is nothing mentioned about this in your every complete and otherwise very efficient instructions There must surely be a better way to organise this. No problem to wait outside on a warm, sunny, summer day like today, ... it would NOT be much fun in winter in the rain!Saturday, July 23, 2022
All good - thanks a lotSaturday, July 23, 2022

There are many reasons patients visit us for a last minute or same day doctor's appointment:
- Being unable to get an appointment with your NHS GP surgery
- Requiring a GP in London during the working day
- Visiting London as a tourist or on work and needing a doctor
- Not having yet registered with an NHS GP surgery
- Not wanting to wait at a walk in clinic
- Flexibility of last minute and same day online booking
"Our general practitioners understand that patients don't carry their full medical record everywhere with them. Our doctors will take time ensuring they understand your existing and past medical problems so they can deal with whatever issue has brought you to our clinic. Our medical records are available for other DocTap doctors to review, so if you ever need to come back your doctor can carry on from your last consultation."

If you need to see a Doctor urgently on the day (Urgent meaning it is not regarding regular medication, on-going problems), please phone up or come in and book an emergency appointment.
They may be able to deal with more than one problem if they are related. However, your doctor may make you another appointment for your other problems, especially if they are new or complex problems. Do not try to add another person in on your consultation.
Call NHS 111 if you have an urgent medical problem, but you're not sure what to do. Visit 111.nhs.uk for urgent medical advice for people aged 5 and over only.
A spokesperson for the BMA insisted that GPs want to provide convenient and safe appointments for patients. They said: 'With widespread workforce shortages, it's not safe for GPs and other staff to spread themselves even more thinly to cover increased appointment slots.
The pandemic has put extra strain on many things, including doctor's surgeries, which means you may have waited longer than normal to see your doctor or found it difficult to get a face-to-face appointment.
Routine. Routine Appointments can be booked several weeks in advance. The purpose of routine appointments is for general health queries, diagnoses, and monitoring of conditions (also known as non-urgent appointments). Routine appointments last for 10 minutes.

Having more than one appointment at the same time is called double booking.
Going to the doctor's office for your medication can be an inconvenience, especially if you just need a prescription for a minor illness or condition. You may be wondering if you can get a prescription without consulting with a doctor. The answer is no – you must see a doctor to get a prescription.
SAME DAY so they WILL make you an appointment if it is clinically needed. If it turns out that the problem needs seeing within 2-3 days rather than straight away, then the duty doctor will also sort that for you.
If you feel your primary care doctor doesn't take your symptoms seriously, ask for a referral to a specialist or go to a different practice for a second opinion. A fresh set of eyes can be extremely helpful. Review how to present your symptoms factually, clearly, quickly, and without unnecessary minutiae.

They're probably simply feeling the effects of being tasked with more things than they can possibly handle. Take note of your office's usual workflow. You might find that while your receptionist has to handle all the incoming patients, they also have to find time to answer a constantly-ringing phone.
We are now long into the dangerous mire of the covid-19 pandemic, but the debate around access to NHS consultations is still very much alive.
When you try to register at a GP practice, the GP doesn't have to accept you. If they refuse to accept you, they must have reasonable grounds and give you their reasons in writing. For example, they might not be accepting new patients.
As for the greater strain on the NHS, Covid continues to be a major problem. The backlog of patients not seen during the pandemic by GPs nor specialists produces bigger bottlenecks through the system. "The health service all works together," he explains. "If we in GP are struggling, then it'll spill over into A&E.
GP practices are open but are working differently in order to protect patients and staff. In order to protect the most clinically vulnerable people who are in contact with our health services, some physical distancing requirements remain in place.
If you have an urgent medical issue and you're not sure what to do, call 111 or visit NHS 111 online. NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Helping GPs change working practices
Most of the GPs have extended their appointments from 10 minutes to 15 minutes per appointment, allowing time to see the patient, complete the appointment and deal with any admin immediately.
The average waiting time for a routine GP appointment has reduced from 19 days to 10 days, an improvement of 47% which has surpassed the team's aim set at the start of the project. The practice is continuing to make improvements so hoping this waiting time will reduce further.
If you feel you would benefit from a telephone appointment rather than be seen face to face in the surgery please ask for this service. The doctor will then phone you back at an allocated time. Please ensure you leave your preferred telephone number for the GP to call you and try to keep your line free.
Throughout the course of several investigations, certain consistencies have been observed and can serve as “red flags” for medical providers to alert them that the patient may not have a legitimate pain issue but are instead seeking narcotics for illegitimate reasons.
Medical gaslighting is when a healthcare provider dismisses your complaints or concerns. They don't seem to take you seriously or blame your symptoms on a vague cause (such as stress). And they may send you home without a proper diagnosis or treatment plan.
Before entering the room, always knock on the door as you walk in. Of course, you are going to enter anyway, but knocking just displays a sense of politeness and consideration.

According to the NHS, all adults aged between 40 and 74 in the UK should have an NHS Health Check every five years, to calculate and monitor the risks of developing heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, type 2 diabetes or certain types of dementia.
The referral is considered urgent because the specialist needs to arrange investigations quickly to try to establish what is wrong. An urgent referral means that the patient will be offered an appointment at a hospital within two weeks.
The maximum waiting time for suspected cancer is 2 weeks from the day your appointment is booked through the NHS e-Referral Service, or when the hospital or service receives your referral letter.
Your urgent referral explained. What is an urgent referral? Your GP has arranged for you to see a hospital doctor (specialist) urgently. This is to investigate your symptoms further. You may have some tests to find out what is wrong and if it could be cancer.
Last year, in the context of the NHS's disgracefully long waiting lists, the government pledged that patients with suspected cancer would be seen by a specialist within two weeks of referral by their general practitioner. The aim was to reduce delays between presentation, diagnosis, and treatment.
